Surprise – Stephen King is Smart

I’m 100 years old – ok, a bit, a lot older.

The point is when I was 10 I lurved Stephen King books.

Read everything up until Needful Things (1990).

Twas around this time in my humble opinion King’s books started to suck.

I continued leafing through new ones for a few years as a diehard fan but…no joy. To be totally brutal even before Needful Things there were a few duds.

Some fans suggested King’s wife was writing the stinkers.

I dunno.

The point is I done found this interestin’ interview with King from Time by Gilbert Cruz the other day.

PS – Did think King’s non-fiction book ‘On Writing’ (2000) was quite good though.
